In order to officially book your wedding, we must first have a consultation call.  This is to ensure that we're a good fit for one another.  After the call, I will provide a proposal (fancy word for quote) for the services you desire.  An electronic signature and deposit payment will officially secure your wedding date.

how do i Book?

Short answer - Yes!
Long answer - Our default payment schedule is 50% retainer deposit, 25% halfway deposit, and 25% two weeks before your wedding.  With that said, we can offer alternative payment schedules when needed.  No matter which plan you choose, the first payment is due with the signing of your contract to secure your date, and the total invoice must be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to your wedding.

Because each wedding is so unique, it's challenging to provide a one-size-fits-all price.  I therefore created tiers for three factors that determine the number of team members, amount of time, and necessary skills needed to successfully execute your unique vision: 1) guest count, 2) design complexity, and 3) transitional elements (items/spaces that need to be moved, set up, or broken down during the wedding).

WHY IS THE PRICING TIERED FOR EACH PACKAGE?

The services listed in our A La Carte menu all require additional team members and specific supplies to provide.  The actual price for each service is dependent on guest count and service type, which determine the number of additional team members needed to provide the service.  For example, a seated champagne pour for 100 guests will require 3-4 trained team members, service trays, and tray stands.
Please note that a la carte services may not be available due to venue restrictions and/or logistics.

WHY ARE THERE ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR A la carte services?

We understand how important your wedding is, and we are committed to making your day as perfect as possible.  It is our preference to fully understand your vision so that we can problem-solve and make decisions with your best interest in mind.  The complexity of weddings also enforces our decision.  There are so many moving parts and details to be aware of.  Our work together prior to the wedding will ensure no details get missed, vendors and logistics are confirmed, and everyone knows exactly what to expect on the day of the wedding.

WHy don't you offer a true day-of coordinator package?

No matter which package you purchase, the digital system requires some manual setup to be accurate for your wedding, and therefore we cannot promise immediate access.  Please allow up to 24 hours to receive access for the standalone digital system, and up to 72 hours for a pre-loaded system.

HOW QUICKLY DO I GET ACCESS?

We offer two payment options for the digital system packages.  The first option is a discounted flat rate.  Alternatively, a low monthly payment can be made for 10 months.  

If you're engagement is longer or shorter, and you're wondering how that works, please see Question 03.

Do you offer payment plans?

No. We believe the full value of the system exceeds our asking price of 10 monthly payments, even if you only use it for 6 months.  We chose 10 months as a set amount so we can keep the monthly payment option as low as possible.  Yes, you may be paying for the system after your wedding, during which you can tie up loose ends like thank you cards and vendor reviews. You will have access to the system, community, and Q&A calls for the full 10 months.  We would love to have you join a Q&A call and share the wisdom gained from your experience!

MY PLANNING PERIOD IS SHORTER THAN 10 MONTHS. DOES THAT AFFECT THE COST?

No. Although we believe the full value of the system exceeds our asking price of 10 monthly payments, the system is yours to use for the duration of your planning once the 10 months (or flat rate) are paid. Everyone will have access to the system until one month after their wedding date. We believe this is a sufficient amount of time to tie up all the loose ends after the wedding - thank you notes to guests, vendor reviews, etc.

MY PLANNING PERIOD IS longer THAN 10 MONTHS. DOES THAT AFFECT THE COST?

If you are only purchasing a digital system, collaboration with an Embrace U planner occurs during our monthly community Q&A calls, not within the system.  Our goal is to answer all submitted questions/concerns during our calls and, if you're there live, we will work with you 1:1 during that time.  Calls are recorded and can be searched for useful answers to a variety of great questions.
If we are providing in-person services for you, we will collaborate in the system once our window of unlimited communication begins (immediately for Partial Planning-Unlimited, 4 months out for Partial Planning-Limited, and 6 weeks out for DOC).

WILL I BE ABLE TO COLLABORATE WITH AN EMBRACE U PLANNER IN THE DIGITAL SYSTEM?

06. is there any way to receive 1:1 assistance without booking in-person services?

While we want to help everyone plan the wedding of their dreams (ideally with ease and joy!), we focus our time and energy predominately on the couples who book our in-person services.  This is to ensure an exceptional planning experience and a smooth and efficient event.  
Additional support can be purchased in the form of 1:1 one hour virtual meetings and/or 1:1 two hour detail meetings.  One hour meetings are sufficient for resolving specific challenges.  Multiple meetings can be purchased at a discounted rate.  In a details meeting, we go over all details to ensure nothing is overlooked.  We suggest having this meeting about 4-6 weeks out.  A follow-up action plan will be provided following all meetings.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO RECEIVE 1:1 ASSISTANCE WITHOUT BOOKING IN-PERSON SERVICES?

In an ideal world, EVERYONE would hire a professional coordinator to assist them with all the things on their wedding day.  There are so many moving parts to a wedding, from setup to breakdown, and even the best-planned weddings need some adjusting on the fly.  We believe  investing in a D.O.C. is worthwhile, as it allows you to relax and enjoy your big day. A pro D.O.C. will easily use your work in the system to execute your dream wedding.
However, we know not every couple has an extensive budget to work with. The digital planning system is a great way to stay organized so you can hand everything off to a Type A person in your life who is confident they can help. We have resources in the system that go over best practices for this.
